The Mini Spool valve DV-5325SS is designed to very accurately dispense medium to high viscosity materials. The valve body of the DV-5325SS is made of stainless steel (WNr. 1.4305, AISI 303). The compact construction of this dispensing valve enables usage in automatic lines and in systems with limited space. The dispensing valve is pneumatically controlled. The reverse action closure of the valve provides suck-back feature, enabling improved positive material cut-off. The retraction stroke can be adjusted via an adjusting screw.
Operation:
The valve is closed in the rest position. The material retraction function can be adjusted on the valve. The valve is opened with application of the controlled air. The valve plunger unit moves downwards, and then the material can flow via the material inlet to the material outlet. Optionally, auxiliary air can also be used for faster closing of the valve. Otherwise, the valve closes with internal spring force. A small oiler can be used to create a moisture barrier when moisture-sensitive material is metered.
