The TS-5440SS Microshot Needle Valve is designed for low to medium viscosity materials and ensures precise dispensing of different sized dots down to a fraction of a microliter. A short opening stroke ensures extremely fast closing. A knurled screw for adjusting the valve stroke facilitates fine adjustment of the dispensing points. Due to its compact design, the TS-5440 can be flexibly and easily integrated into automated applications.
Functionality
The valve is opened by compressed air and closed by a spring. The compressed air supplied through the opening pulls the needle unit back from the metering needle seat so that the material flows from the material inlet to the metering needle. If the compressed air supply is interrupted, the spring pushes the needle back to its initial position, thus closing the material path.
