The high pressure spool valve Model DV-5370 is manufactured with a valve body made of aluminium. This valve is ideally suited for controlled dispensing of high viscosity materials such as silicones (RTV), sealants and greases and various other thick pastes. High pressure spool valve DV-5370 is pneumatically controlled. The reverse action closure of the valve provides a suck-back effect, enabling improved positive shear of the material. The high pressure valve is designed for extremely high material pressures up to 2500 PSI material input.
Functionality
The valve is closed in the rest position. The material suck-back function is adjustable on the valve. The control air opens the valve. The valve tappet unit moves down and material flows through the material inlet to the material outlet. In the standard operation, the valve closes via a spring force. A moisture barrier can be built up via a small oiler if moisture-sensitive material is being dispensed. This valve has a ¼ NPT port outlet, which allows multiple tip terminations. The ¼NPT air ports also permits easy connection to the dispensing controller.
